Amnesty at Massey

Amnesty at Massey is a society for people who are passionate about the human rights of all individuals.�� As a uni group we do as much as we can to raise awareness of the various human rights violations occurring throughout the world, and right here in front of our noses.�� �� Activities are designed to raise awareness and support�� of the plight of those who cannot help themselves. We write letters to governments on behalf of prisoners of conscience.�� We run awareness campaigns on concourse seeking signatures for petitions and letters, that go to heads of states and others with power to change abuses around the world. We fundraise through bake sales and sizzles, as well as, running an vigils, annual Human Rights Film Festival and Freedom run charity event each year.
