MUAC Hut

The Massey University Alpine Club Hut is situated beside the Ohakune Mountain Road, 14km from Ohakune and 3km below Turoa ski field on Mt Ruapehu. The MUAC hut is available for bookings all year round, and is also available to non-members.

The hut can accommodate 24 people on backcountry hut style bunks. The facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, kitchen with gas cookers, coal fire, and lighting. No food or bedding other than mattresses is supplied.

Booking is required for use of the MUAC hut.
