PN Furniture maker in exhibition

Palmerston North furniture designer Andy Halewood has been selected to take part in a elite furniture exhibition on Waiheke Island.

Mr Halewood is one of only ten designers chosen to take part in the Design Make: Sideboard 2008 event, which will showcase excellence in furniture designs of sideboards.

Andy Halewood, as a senior lecturer for UCOL's Diploma in Furniture Design and Making in Palmerston North, was selected based on designs which are made of pine, macrocarpa and some aluminum.

The exhibition at the Waiheke Island Community art gallery opens on the 8th of August.
