We have a population of around 78,000. About 40% of our population are studying - be it part time or full time.

We are surrounded by the Mighty Manawatu river and an abundance of recreational opportunities. Not only that, but you'll find here any of the shopping, dining or entertainment that you could ever ask for!

We love our students! Its a cheap place to live thats easy to get around. The buses are FREE and reliable and the average rent is well below that of of other University centres.
