The Low Down

The nominations for the Student City Arts & Cultural Awards open on Monday 30th August. The Awards are open to all students studying at a Tertiary Institution in Palmerston North and cover a wide range of Arts and for the first time, cultural aspects of student life, celebrating the success of our students, their clubs and societies and their contribution toward art and culture in Palmerston North. Awards include 'Emerging Artist', 'Outstanding Contribution to Art' and 'Campus Spirit'.

Nominations

Nominations close on Friday 24th September. Download a nomination form or further information please email studentcity@visionmanawatu.co.nz or visit your local Student's Association.

Where it's at

Student City Arts Festival launches at Square Edge on September 27th. The Awards will be held at the Globe Theatre as the finale event of the Festival on 10th October.

Celerbrate

Join us to celebrate Palmerston North Arts and Culture. The Festival will showcase our many talented students studying a wealth of arts disciplines from fine arts, sculpture, dance, drama, singing, painting, photography, poetry, films and music. The Festival programme is an opportunity for our entire community to participate, celebrate and be wowed by the talent on display.
